One of the most interesting parts of being an art teacher is getting to dive into each medium I teach. When I am left to my own, I prefer oil painting because of its gorgeous color and thick texture. I like to paint with the impasto technique and prefer to paint quickly on small panels. My work covers a wide variety of subjects, but each one shows moments that highlight the beauty of light, shadow, and reflection.
